The briquette equipment is one of the main devices in the technology of forming powder and granular materials. Its application fields in industry are extensive. Briquette is usually a part of the process, and the purpose may be to reduce the load of the dust removal system, or it may be for the need of air permeability during the sintering or reduction reaction process. Sometimes, the briquette products can also be sold as end products.
For high-pressure briquette machines, we usually consider a linear specific pressure of (5-12) t/cm as a high-pressure briquette machine. Commonly used ones include: 80 KN/cm; 110 KN/cm; 120 KN/cm ; 150KN/cm.

High Pressure Briquette Machine Main features:
■The transmission system: motor -- elastic coupling (belt drive) -- double outlet reducer -- gear coupling -- two rollers.
■Roller structures: hot-mounted structure, detachable expansion and tightening sleeve, and Mosaic structure with the segmented roller sleeve.
■Roller materials: High quality bearing steel, cold working die steel and martensite stainless steel (suitable for acid materials)
■Bearing assembly: return sleeve structure, equipped with special tools for disassembly and assembly.
■Prepressing screw: It is one of the core technologies. According to the material characteristic (mainly refers to the fluidity, the abrasiveness, the granularity), it is specially designed with cleaning and extrusion function. Variable pitch spiral is designed for hard molding materials.

High Pressure Briquette Machine Applied materials:
■Minerals: bauxite, limestone, aluminum ash, dolomite, gypsum, clay, magnesium oxide, fluorite, pigment, laterite nickel ore, vanadium pentoxide, zirconium hydroxide, zirconium zirconate...
■Metallic minerals: chromium nickel iron, manganese metal powder, silicon manganese alloy, molybdenum oxide, chromium ore powder, manganese ore powder, chromium iron, nickel iron...
■Cold pressing block of direct reducing iron.
■All kinds of dust removal ash.(electric furnace dust removal ash, converter dust removal ash, blast furnace dust removal ash, sintering powder, coke powder...)
■Coal, black carbon, graphite, charcoal...
■Iron coke, carbon containing pellets...

Compaction principle:
Powdered or granular materials are compressed and shaped between a pair of counter-rotating rollers. One of the rollers is movable, and pressure is applied through a hydraulic system. The roller surfaces have customized molds. The material may be a single material or a mixture, and may require the addition of a binder.
High Pressure Briquette Machine Process:
Different materials have different pelletizing properties, and the selection of the briquetting machine and process also varies accordingly. Furthermore, the requirements for the final product are also a crucial factor in determining the process.
The pelletizing properties of a material depend on the material itself, such as its fineness, particle size distribution, moisture content, and composition, and usually require testing to determine.
Not all materials are suitable for pelletizing. If the cohesive force between material particles is low, a suitable binder is necessary. Based on the physical properties of the material and the purpose of the final pellets, the selection of the binder needs to consider both its binding performance and cost. Various (liquid or solid) binders are available, such as starch, bentonite, asphalt, quicklime, cement, water, flour, lignin sulfonate, molasses, polymers, resins, sodium silicate, and new composite binders for specific applications.
The key process requirement for briquetting equipment is "continuous quantitative feeding." Therefore, the process usually requires continuous batching, mixing, and subsequent drying (details of the batching and mixing processes can be found in the brochure).
In practice, Kaizheng Company has accumulated considerable experience and possesses complete turnkey system capabilities (including electrical interlocking and interface control), integrating forming units to meet your specific needs.
